In the 2nd match minute, Vallentuna Kickers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fredrik Bjurström to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Li Han didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vallentuna Kickers's goalkeeper Li Han, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vallentuna Kickers's Torbjörn Tingberg got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Vallentuna Kickers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Cristian Sancho made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Vallentuna Kickers's Li Han managed to reach the ball for a save. If Gunnar Nordlander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the match, Gunnar Nordlander dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Julio Vera, 1-0. Li Han made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 25th minute of play. After having played for 27 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Li Han made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 28th minute of play. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 29th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Li Han prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Vallentuna Kickers's Torbjörn Tingberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julio Vera. That made the score 2-0 after 35 minutes of play. Felix Montenegro took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Li Han. Li Han dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Li Han showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After having played for 43 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 45th minute Torbjörn Tingberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Li Han breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Li Han didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Li Han made a huge save. In the 58th minute, Cristian Sancho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Li Han. The goal made the score 2-2. 62 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Li Han was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A throw-in in the 65th minute of the game was made by Primitivo Andino with Felix Montenegro as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Li Han didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Torbjörn Tingberg in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 77th minute, Gunnar Nordlander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vallentuna Kickers's Li Han played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 78th minute of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torbjörn Tingberg in the 80th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the game, Vallentuna Kickers's Gunnar Nordlander nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute, Gunnar Nordlander ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-4. Richard Hedbom kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Despite being the better team, Ecuador failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
