In the 30th minute, Julian Murillo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Borys Poreda. The goal made the score 1-2. 33 minutes into the game, Albertino Lemos threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 35 minutes into the match, Victoria Toruń's goalkeeper Borys Poreda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. With a couple of smart ball manuevers D.J. 武磊 in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Noboa saved Peru from getting behind. Florian Hajto kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Borys Poreda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Murillo's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Borys Poreda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 54th minute of play. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Albertino Lemos, made in the 61st minute of the game. Borys Poreda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luz Tejedor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Julian Murillo put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Borys Poreda. In the 74th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Borys Poreda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Borys Poreda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Victoria Toruń's goal looked a bit too open when Luz Tejedor came free, but Borys Poreda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Albertino Lemos, made in the 84th minute of the game. In the 90th minute of the match Peru got a corner. Victoria Toruń's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eliseo Mina ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Joaquin Prats almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Victoria Toruń's Borys Poreda did a great save. In the 96th minute Rafael Gallo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Borys Poreda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peru's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
