That made the score 3-0 in the 18 minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when 叶振崇 came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 贺岩辉 charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed 贺岩辉 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, 北京的冬天风嗖嗖's 贺岩辉 got a free kick in the 28th minute. Axel Tasis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for 巩瑜飞. 北京的冬天风嗖嗖's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 巩瑜飞 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Noboa, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. When Lautaro Puig fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Lautaro Puig a yellow card for diving instead. Lautaro Puig hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. 温霆思's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Axel Tasis was the one to do the kick off. Axel Tasis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but 巩瑜飞 made a huge save. 56 minutes into the game, 温霆思 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Alan Moruga got a free kick in the 59th minute. The audience held their breath when 陶克辉 in the 60th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Benito Sanz's left hand side. 温霆思 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 温霆思 couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Alexander Carballo hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 吕鸿桦 in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 巩瑜飞 made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Axel Tasis sent off a good shot on target. Lautaro Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Costa Rica's Axel Tasis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of 巩瑜飞. That made the score 5-1 after 85 minutes of play. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 温霆思, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. 北京的冬天风嗖嗖 had played much better football throughout.
