Nedelcho Petlichkov didn't get a good kick on the ball. 7 minutes into the match, ЦСКА's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Anzhelo Gerushin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Berganza in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anzhelo Gerushin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 15 minutes into the game, Tomas Berganza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Anzhelo Gerushin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 18th minute, Belcho Hlebarov made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Anzhelo Gerushin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 20th minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Tomas Berganza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Anzhelo Gerushin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to ЦСКА getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Ivelin Ananiev hit a great ball. Anzhelo Gerushin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abraham Alguacil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Belcho Hlebarov to make the kick off. Aaron Barrios's late challenge caught a ЦСКА's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aaron Barrios helped the player get up and apologised. Aaron Barrios hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, ЦСКА's Stoimen Dipchikov got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After 57 played minutes ЦСКА got a freekick which was hit by Lyuboslav Popinski. Abraham Alguacil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Anzhelo Gerushin made a huge save. Miguel Miralles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anzhelo Gerushin having to interfere. Anzhelo Gerushin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Belcho Hlebarov in the 67th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ЦСКА's Anzhelo Gerushin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 71st minute of play. ЦСКА's Anzhelo Gerushin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save ЦСКА from getting a goal against them. After 83 played minutes ЦСКА got a freekick which was hit by Gergin Shtúrbov. Abraham Alguacil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anzhelo Gerushin having to interfere. Belcho Hlebarov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Marcos Cotilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to ЦСКА getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Lyuboslav Popinski hit a great ball. Abraham Alguacil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anzhelo Gerushin having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Panama left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than ЦСКА.
