Pinki Pied could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pinki Pied went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Tre Starka's zone, Joel Gaona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vukašin Hadžiđulbić came out of the goal and Joel Gaona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vukašin Hadžiđulbić stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Tafalla's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Pinki Pied came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Pinki Pied notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 31st minute of play forced Tre Starka's goalkeeper Vukašin Hadžiđulbić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, Alberto Tafalla made a precise shot to the right of Vukašin Hadžiđulbić. Tre Starka's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. Mexico's Alberto Tafalla got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bennvar Galloway in the 55th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stig Petersson was slow to take the kick. During this time Tre Starka's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Bennvar Galloway managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After a rather tough play, Tre Starka's Stig Petersson got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 68th minute, Lautaro Mancebo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bennvar Galloway in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th play minute Alberto Tafalla came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Vukašin Hadžiđulbić. 3-2. Tre Starka's Vukašin Hadžiđulbić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 80th minute of play. Tre Starka's Vukašin Hadžiđulbić proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Tre Starka from getting a goal against them. Alberto Tafalla's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Vukašin Hadžiđulbić firmly grabbed it by the left post.
