The Boguslaw Zawaski was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Zdzislaw Dejo hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Boguslaw Zawaski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 16th minute of play. Boguslaw Zawaski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Saelices, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugon Pincoski in the 39th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Julio Vera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. GORNIK PIASKI's Leon Pincoski was substituted for Danny King. GORNIK PIASKI were awarded a corner in the 46th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mariusz Nalaskowski took the corner. The corner ended in Mariusz Nalaskowski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. The GORNIK PIASKI players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-1.

Boguslaw Zawaski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 50th minute of the match. In the 52nd minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Boguslaw Zawaski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 58th minute Tomasz Burufski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Papi Erős had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugon Pincoski in the 68th minute of play. A collision led to GORNIK PIASKI getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Hugon Pincoski hit a great ball. In the 80th minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Boguslaw Zawaski. Boguslaw Zawaski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Boguslaw Zawaski made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Boguslaw Zawaski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boguslaw Zawaski having to interfere.
