Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 4th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Sancho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Red Hawk Football Club getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Frisco Carceles hit a great ball. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Sancho having to interfere. Omar Sancho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Omar Sancho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 16th minute of the match. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Red Hawk Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javier Castelao didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 18 minutes of play, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Omar Sancho was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Sancho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Red Hawk Football Club's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Omar Sancho came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Red Hawk Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javier Castelao didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Omar Sancho. Omar Sancho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 36th play minutes Daniel Zorita shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Omar Sancho and just under the crossbar into goal. After 38 minutes, Daniel Zorita made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Red Hawk Football Club's Omar Sancho tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 42 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Omar Sancho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Omar Sancho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Sancho having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Luis Andino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Omar Sancho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Red Hawk Football Club's Fix Romero got a free kick in the 68th minute. When Javier Castelao fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Red Hawk Football Club's protests and gave Javier Castelao a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Red Hawk Football Club getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Javier Castelao hit a great ball. During the 73rd minute of the match Javier Castelao completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Javier Castelao a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Red Hawk Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javier Castelao didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute, Cristian Sancho fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Omar Sancho didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Ecuador's Cristian Sancho shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-8 in the ordered_time% minute. Omar Sancho made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. If Felix Montes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute of the game, Cristian Sancho landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 84 minutes into the game, Asteri Martínez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Red Hawk Football Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Ecuador's Diego Mancebo was substituted for Cristian Sancho. After 85 played minutes Red Hawk Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Asteri Martínez. If Raúl Valerón had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Red Hawk Football Club's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Diego Mancebo 93 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-9. Ecuador played a much better game than Red Hawk Football Club and deserved their victory. The Red Hawk Football Club players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
