The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 俞岚南 kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 74th minute of the game Guillermo Mariano made a throw-in which Tomas Illescas played forward. After some careless play in the 【INTER】≮蓝黑≯圣徒归来 defense, Patricio Costa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 傅益剑. The 【INTER】≮蓝黑≯圣徒归来 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 傅益剑 should have stopped the shot. In the 95th minute, Patricio Costa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 傅益剑 was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Venezuela fully deserved thier win.
