Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Alexandros Ismael in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Águilas Poblanas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 5th minute, when Daniel Zorita scored to the left of an out of position Alexandros Ismael, making the score, 1-0. With a little luck, Águilas Poblanas's Alexandros Ismael got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alexandros Ismael made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Montenegro in the 16th minute. Jacinto Galeno took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 25th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandros Ismael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Águilas Poblanas's Jacinto Galeno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 31st match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jacinto Galeno went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Tao Cheng Han received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandros Ismael made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 43rd minute, which Alexandros Ismael however easily saved by the left post. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jacinto Galeno was the one to do the kick off. Jacinto Galeno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Virgilio Txindoki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Águilas Poblanas's Iker Urti was substituted for Virgilio Txindoki. Águilas Poblanas made a substitution. Epifanio Intxixu replaced Ciro Matai. After a rather tough play, Águilas Poblanas's Virgilio Txindoki got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute, Epifanio Intxixu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 66 minutes into the game, Jacinto Galeno recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julio Vera. Jacinto Galeno showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. When Águilas Poblanas's Jacinto Galeno in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexandros Ismael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 74th minute of the match. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Galeno in the 76th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Águilas Poblanas's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Alexandros Ismael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alexandros Ismael. Águilas Poblanas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. After 91 minutes, Felix Montes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the Águilas Poblanas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Felix Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Alexandros Ismael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Águilas Poblanas's Eusebio Beltran got a free kick in the 99th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Ecuador lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
