Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cassius Byrne got the match started through his kick off. Monty Rogers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stamen Kapitanov having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sten Askestät in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Day saved USA from getting behind. FC Builder Sofia's Stamen Kapitanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 12th minute of play forced FC Builder Sofia's goalkeeper Stamen Kapitanov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. USA were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after FC Builder Sofia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cassius Byrne took the corner. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacob May in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stamen Kapitanov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Stamen Kapitanov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Mcdonald, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cassius Byrne came free with the goalkeeper in the 20th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Stamen Kapitanov could save by the left post. Murilo Pirani might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marco Day. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Murilo Pirani ran back to his position shaking his head. 32 minutes into the match, FC Builder Sofia's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Stamen Kapitanov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stamen Kapitanov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edward Mcdonald's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. The USA fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when USA's Edward Mcdonald looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Stamen Kapitanov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 43rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Builder Sofia's zone, Cassius Byrne stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stamen Kapitanov came out of the goal and Cassius Byrne tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sten Askestät made a kick off. Marco Day made a fantastic save in the 50th minute, when Geraldo Souza sent off a good shot on target. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sten Askestät in the 62nd minute of the match. Stamen Kapitanov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 69th minute of the match.
