Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Sten Askestät started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Cassius Byrne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Stamen Kapitanov made a huge save. Geraldo Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geraldo Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Cassius Byrne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Stamen Kapitanov made a huge save. In the 12th minute Sten Askestät shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, FC Builder Sofia's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Monty Rogers fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a little luck, FC Builder Sofia's Stamen Kapitanov got control of the ball when Cassius Byrne tried to sneak it across the goal line. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yulian Ivanov in the 18th minute of play. FC Builder Sofia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Geraldo Souza in the 19th minute. Sten Askestät was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yulian Ivanov in the 20th minute of play. When Sten Askestät came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the FC Builder Sofia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sten Askestät couldn't finish the play. Yulian Ivanov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th minute, Edward Mcdonald got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 27 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Yulian Ivanov came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute Geraldo Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 31st minute of play forced FC Builder Sofia's goalkeeper Stamen Kapitanov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sten Askestät in the 36th minute of play. Edward Mcdonald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stamen Kapitanov having to interfere. In the 42nd minute Edward Mcdonald suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Boudewijn Buskes during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 41 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Builder Sofia! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cassius Byrne made a kick off. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murilo Pirani in the 51st minute of play. With an all-out effort, FC Builder Sofia's Marco Day threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sten Askestät, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. FC Builder Sofia's Stamen Kapitanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassius Byrne in the 57th minute of play. FC Builder Sofia's Geraldo Souza got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stamen Kapitanov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marco Day made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 85 minutes into the match, Murilo Pirani had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marco Day. USA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Murilo Pirani was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. With his leg Marco Day managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when FC Builder Sofia's Yulian Ivanov fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 94th minute, Khalid Parry hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Murilo Pirani's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Day read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. 97 minutes had been played when some careless play by USA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Geraldo Souza was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Builder Sofia's players had a chance to rest. Although USA had been in control for most of the match, FC Builder Sofia still came away with the win.
