Marco Day made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geraldo Souza in the 19th minute. Marco Day was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Geraldo Souza showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. FC Builder Sofia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edward Mcdonald was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yulian Ivanov in the 67th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cassius Byrne who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Stamen Kapitanov when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geraldo Souza in the 88th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by USA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Geraldo Souza was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Builder Sofia's players had a chance to rest. Khalid Parry could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Stamen Kapitanov made a huge save. Stamen Kapitanov made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Marco Baker sent off a good shot on target. Jenson Smith kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The FC Builder Sofia players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
