Georg Giliusson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Georg Giliusson. Quetzal Flyers Hammers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 15th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Georg Giliusson. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Georg Giliusson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luis Andino showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 51 minute of play. 53 minutes into the game, one of Quetzal Flyers Hammers:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Ecuador a penalty, 56 minutes into the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Georg Giliusson made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. A very good chance for a goal. 81 minutes into the match, Quetzal Flyers Hammers's goalkeeper Georg Giliusson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Georg Giliusson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. In the 84th minute, Krister Torstensson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Luis Andino slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Georg Giliusson. That made the score 0-9 after 87 minutes of play.
