Rufus Bangert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 13th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Chile's Mariano Lacasa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 23 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rufus Bangert narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 24th minute, Sven Appenzeller left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Großberghofen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Mariano Lacasa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chile's supporters rose to their feet, but Mariano Lacasa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rufus Bangert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Großberghofen's Markus Bechert got a free kick in the 29th minute. Orlando Casaus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Rufus Bangert made a huge save. Rufus Bangert made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 33rd minute. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Rufus Bangert made a huge save. The Großberghofen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rufus Bangert should have stopped the shot. With an all-out effort, Großberghofen's Thiago Pliego threw himself towards the right post 62 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sven Appenzeller, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Rufus Bangert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Thiago Pliego was a little too slow when Irmin Michalsky got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 3-4. In the 71st minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rufus Bangert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Großberghofen's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Rufus Bangert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 80th minute of play forced Großberghofen's goalkeeper Rufus Bangert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
