Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven Appenzeller in the 8th minute of play. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Irmin Michalsky in the 9th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Irmin Michalsky. Rufus Bangert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Sven Appenzeller who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Dante Lacasa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sven Appenzeller in the 31st minute. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Irmin Michalsky sent off a good shot on target. In the 47th match minute, Großberghofen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerd Della to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Rufus Bangert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Großberghofen's Irmin Michalsky. But to his dismay, Irmin Michalsky quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven Appenzeller in the 59th minute of play. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Facundo Cadaval hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven Appenzeller in the 62nd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute Irmin Michalsky shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Edwin Eberl notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rufus Bangert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes had been played when some careless play by Großberghofen's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. 71 minutes into the match, Odo Uedickoven had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Odo Uedickoven was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 77th minute, Alberto Tafalla made a precise shot to the right of Rufus Bangert. Großberghofen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. With a little luck, Großberghofen's Rufus Bangert got control of the ball when Joel Gaona tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Irmin Michalsky in the 81st minute of play. Großberghofen's Rufus Bangert proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Großberghofen from getting a goal against them. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven Appenzeller in the 85th minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Irmin Michalsky in the 89th minute of the match. When Joel Gaona came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Gaona couldn't finish the play. The Großberghofen support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
