The referee showed Maximiliano Camara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to VALPICA C.F. getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Villa got free with Rodrigo Ramos in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in VALPICA C.F.'s zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrigo Ramos came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sebastian Villa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Rodrigo Ramos made a huge save. Rodrigo Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Tafalla in the 29th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, VALPICA C.F.'s goalkeeper Rodrigo Ramos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmundo Espiga. After 42 minutes of play, VALPICA C.F.'s Medero Nadal made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lautaro Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Honduras players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. VALPICA C.F. were winning 1-2.

In the 51st minute, Sebastian Villa made a precise shot to the right of Rodrigo Ramos. VALPICA C.F.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. VALPICA C.F.'s Rodrigo Ramos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Medero Nadal in the 55th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. VALPICA C.F.'s Rodrigo Ramos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Villa in the 61st minute of play. Rodrigo Ramos came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Honduras's Luca Espinar. But to his dismay, Luca Espinar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. In the 75th match minute, VALPICA C.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Lastras to maneuver through the defense. Medero Nadal's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 85thth minute, Lautaro Navarro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 85 minutes, Medero Nadal made it 3-5 with a short kick to the right side. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Esteban Carvallo got a free kick in the 87th minute. Medero Nadal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
