An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitinho de Barros in the 4th minute of play forced Ulfa FSV's goalkeeper Cosmo Abegg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rdth minute of the game Vitinho de Barros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ulfa FSV's Cosmo Abegg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 25 minutes Ulfa FSV's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Isaac Ignazio who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to AA Bełchatów's Mariusz Basaik getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. If Vitinho de Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the match, AA Bełchatów's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Esterházy came free, but Leonard Rosen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonard Rosen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Esterházy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Vitinho de Barros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cosmo Abegg was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Luke Rexhaus hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. If Vitinho de Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute Vitinho de Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosmo Abegg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonard Rosen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Umbach in the 94th minute of play. AA Bełchatów's Vitinho de Barros got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The AA Bełchatów supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing AA Bełchatów would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
