In the 9th match minute, FCB team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frans Vrankx to maneuver through the defense. Joel Gaona blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adrian Železný having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 12th minute of play forced FCB team's goalkeeper Adrian Železný to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Kamber Aydınoğlu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Adrian Železný showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 16th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kamber Aydınoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After 21 minutes of play, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adrian Železný was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 28 played minutes FCB team got a freekick which was hit by Benicio Artizar. 31 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kamber Aydınoğlu. After a defensive mix-up in FCB team's zone, Alberto Tafalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrian Železný came out of the goal and Alberto Tafalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Zorita in the 44th minute of play forced FCB team's goalkeeper Adrian Železný to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adrian Železný came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Joel Gaona. But to his dismay, Joel Gaona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The FCB team players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mexico were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Diederiek Dirckx to make the kick off. A collision led to FCB team getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Diederiek Dirckx hit a great ball. After having played for 58 minutes, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Tafalla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kamber Aydınoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute Sabastian 尉迟 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pieterjan Vanneste in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Adrian Železný made a huge save. In the 78th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. Adrian Železný made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 79th minute of play. Diederiek Dirckx took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. In the 86th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Železný saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 94 minutes, Kamber Aydınoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FCB team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kamber Aydınoğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mexico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
