Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Illescas took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Joshua Secada got a free kick in the 2nd minute. 8 minutes into the game, Börje Fagerberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 10 played minutes Djurgårdens IF got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Flinck. Mark Nilsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Djurgårdens IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Best Man didn't get a good kick on the ball. Best Man sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Guillermo Mariano made in the 26th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Tomas Illescas. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pankracy Oborski in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. After 30 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chicote. In the 30th minute of the match Best Man shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pankracy Oborski, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute, Pankracy Oborski reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 2-0. If Pankracy Oborski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Börje Fagerberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 44th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Mark Nilsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Börje Fagerberg made the kick off in the second half. Tomas Illescass short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Mark Nilsson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Venezuela's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomas Illescas in the 55th minute. The corner ended in Camilo Gaos almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Djurgårdens IF's Mark Nilsson did a great save. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 66 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when 汪希振 came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Illescas was extremely unlucky when he, in the 68th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. With an all-out effort, Venezuela's Mark Nilsson threw himself towards the right post 68 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tomas Illescas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 70 minutes into the match, Djurgårdens IF's Börje Fagerberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 77th minute, Best Man hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Mark Nilsson made a huge save. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Mark Nilsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Djurgårdens IF had played much better football throughout.
