Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cherry Evans in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute, Cherry Evans made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 10th minute, Axel Montenegro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Colombia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 12th minute, Cherry Evans ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cherry Evans in the 19th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baycan Selami in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alperen Adıgün in the 34th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cherry Evans, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. With an all-out effort, Colombia's Mehmet Çağakan threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Abram Sarmiento, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 41st minute of the match Colombia got a corner. Araklılı Avareler's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Axel Montenegro ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Colombia's corner Kevin Mastache fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mehmet Çağakan quite easily take care of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hikmet Tulun during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Colombia booed when Araklılı Avareler was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hikmet Tulun didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Colombia players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Araklılı Avareler were winning 1-3.

Axel Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mehmet Çağakan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mehmet Çağakan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santino Seco in the 52nd minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Alperen Adıgün came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cahit Zülfü in the 54th minute. After some careless play in the Araklılı Avareler defense, Kevin Mastache kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mehmet Çağakan. The Araklılı Avareler fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mehmet Çağakan should have stopped the shot. In the 61st minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Çağakan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 66 minutes of play, Colombia's Abram Sarmiento made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mehmet Çağakan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Abram Secada took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mehmet Çağakan. Mehmet Çağakan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. Cherry Evans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. Kevin Mastache struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Mehmet Çağakan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colombia. Cahit Zülfü could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cherry Evans in the 86th minute of play. If Cherry Evans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mehmet Çağakan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 94th minute of the match. Araklılı Avareler's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
