Edmundo Espiga struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Vrasidas Panaretos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vrasidas Panaretos was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. The Honduras fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Honduras's Edmundo Espiga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. In the 27th minute, Gris Maffian's Shao Ting Xing dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 31st minute of play forced Gris Maffian's goalkeeper Vrasidas Panaretos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lautaro Navarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Shao Ting Xing in the 33rd minute. 34 minutes into the game, Gio Bonanni was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gris Maffian's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. Honduras made a substitution. Stefano Rouco replaced Ivan Navarro. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Shao Ting Xing was the one to do the kick off. Honduras's Christian Sancho managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gustav Ekrot in the 53 minute of the game. Vrasidas Panaretos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 58 minutes, Ulf Lindmark mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gris Maffian and the Honduras players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ulf Lindmark kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shao Ting Xing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentín Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. Vincent Mårtensson scored 3-1 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lautaro Navarro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
