Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Axel Tasis kicked off to start the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Tasis in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Cauchi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vasco Veloso hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Tommy Cauchi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Tasis in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th match minute, Victoria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vasco Veloso to maneuver through the defense. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Avellino in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Nestor Eleder was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Victoria's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Costa Rica the free kick. In the 19th match minute, Victoria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Eleder to maneuver through the defense. Benito Sanz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fredrik Hylander showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 23 minute of play. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Avellino in the 26th minute of play. In the 29th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Ferrant to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Victoria booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute, Janusz Duda reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benito Sanz. The goal made the score 2-0. The supporters of Victoria booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Efrain Moruga hit a great ball. Nestor Eleder was shown his second yellow card after 47 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emanuel Avellino was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Victoria's Stephan Blanco got a free kick in the 52nd minute. 54 minutes into the match, Victoria's goal looked a bit too open when Aaron Alcocer came free, but Tommy Cauchi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Avellino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 57 minutes Costa Rica's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Stephan Blanco who took care of the corner kick. Nigel Petroni made a great header on Victoria's corner, it was just that Costa Rica's Benito Sanz managed to reach the ball for a save. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Avellino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 62 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Carballo. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liu Yuan Cheng, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Efrain Moruga hit a great ball. Emanuel Avellino took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liu Yuan Cheng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victoria's Tommy Cauchi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Victoria from getting a goal against them. In the 79th minute, Emanuel Avellino made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Avellino in the 83rd minute of play. In the 86th minute Emanuel Avellino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liu Yuan Cheng in the 94th minute of the match. Lautaro Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Cauchi having to interfere. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Avellino in the 97th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Victoria fully deserved thier win.
