Marcel Mallinger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rohan Watson in the 19th minute of the match. Marcel Mallinger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rohan Watson, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 25 minutes into the match, FV Wienerwald's goal looked a bit too open when Koby Wright came free, but Marcel Mallinger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute, Koby Wright made a precise shot to the right of Marcel Mallinger. FV Wienerwald's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 41st minute Luka Harris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Mallinger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rudolf Reichert kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Marcel Mallinger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rohan Watson, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half Canada were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Koby Wright to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, FV Wienerwald's goal looked a bit too open when Koby Wright came free, but Marcel Mallinger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FV Wienerwald's Marcel Mallinger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Koby Wright in the 52nd minute of play. Luka Harris could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Marcel Mallinger made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Koby Wright in the 56th minute of play forced FV Wienerwald's goalkeeper Marcel Mallinger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rohan Watson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Marcel Mallinger made a huge save. In the 63rd minute of the match Canada got a corner. FV Wienerwald's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jan Dixon ran over to the corner to take the kick. Canada's Jan Dixon was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marcel Mallinger in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Marcel Mallinger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carter George in the 69th minute of play. Theo Burton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Marcel Mallinger made a huge save. In the 78th minute Theo Burton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Mallinger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, FV Wienerwald's goalkeeper Marcel Mallinger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Theo Burton. 81 minutes into the match, FV Wienerwald's goal looked a bit too open when Theo Burton came free, but Marcel Mallinger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FV Wienerwald's Felix Hanschirik was substituted for Ralf Szüczs. Felix Hanschirik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Jax Williamson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 91 minutes of play, FV Wienerwald's Per Nienhaus made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jax Williamson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Canada were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
