Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) FV Wienerwald's Marcel Mallinger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 7th minute of play. Marcel Mallinger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Mcdonald in the 13th minute of play. Marcel Mallinger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. USA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cassius Byrne in the 15th minute. Marco Day came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by FV Wienerwald's Anfilogino Alfonsi. But to his dismay, Anfilogino Alfonsi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. USA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cassius Byrne in the 27th minute. The corner led to USA's Edward Mcdonald getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The supporters of FV Wienerwald booed when USA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edward Mcdonald didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute Jenson Smith shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Mallinger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 30 minutes FV Wienerwald's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cassius Byrne who took care of the corner kick. Jenson Smith made a great header on USA's corner, it was just that FV Wienerwald's Marcel Mallinger managed to reach the ball for a save. Marcel Mallinger was a little too slow when Jenson Smith got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 1-1. Marcel Mallinger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 34th minute of the match. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anfilogino Alfonsi in the 37th minute of the match. Ralf Szüczs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in USA's zone, Ralf Szüczs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Day came out of the goal and Ralf Szüczs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, FV Wienerwald's Andreas Trautermann got a free kick in the 45th minute. Cassius Byrne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Marcel Mallinger made a huge save. 47 minutes into the match, FV Wienerwald's Ralf Szüczs sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marco Day narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 49 minutes USA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ralf Szüczs who took care of the corner kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anfilogino Alfonsi made a kick off. Hamilton Carvalhal's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marco Day firmly grabbed it by the left post. Edward Mcdonald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marco Day made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ralf Szüczs in the 59th minute. Steffen Eisenheld kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Marcel Mallinger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 62nd minute of the match. Hamilton Carvalhal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Marco Day made a huge save. Anfilogino Alfonsi hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. FV Wienerwald made a substitution. Per Nienhaus replaced Hamilton Carvalhal. After 71 minutes of play, FV Wienerwald's Per Nienhaus made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Day was left in no man's land by his defense there! FV Wienerwald's Klaus Adolphi was substituted for Andreas Trautermann. An unexpectedly hard shot by Célio Nogueira in the 77th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcel Mallinger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sam Campbell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FV Wienerwald's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
