In the 7th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Indiano to maneuver through the defense. 10 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when C.J. Sharp came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pinturas Coronado's goalkeeper Beltxe Balboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Beltxe Balboa made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. C.J. Sharp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. 王适伟 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mariano Lacasa scored 2-0 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Beltxe Balboa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 32nd minute of the match Chile got a corner. Pinturas Coronado's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mariano Lacasa ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 34th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Carballar to maneuver through the defense. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Beltxe Balboa having to make a save. If 王适伟 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mariano Lacasa to make the kick off. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Beltxe Balboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Beltxe Balboa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Beltxe Balboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 65th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when 王适伟 came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pinturas Coronado's goalkeeper Beltxe Balboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. C.J. Sharps short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Thiago Pliego to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Beltxe Balboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pinturas Coronado's goalkeeper Beltxe Balboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had been going on for 94 minutes Guillermo Fontirroig shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Beltxe Balboa when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. Chile's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
