Chaiyos Kittisiriphun hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After 17 played minutes, Wesselbend's Jonáš Baroš shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ter Stegen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Wesselbend reached it. Ter Stegen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benard Ngamta, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dan Van Hemel in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ter Stegen saved Ganadería casa Ferreiro from getting behind. Jurgen Goris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabri Casals, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Ter Stegen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Everardo Huguet went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 34th minute Nguyễn Phuoc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jurgen Goris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Everardo Huguet struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Ter Stegen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wesselbend. Ter Stegen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Van Hemel in the 37th minute of play. Benard Ngamta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Ter Stegen made a huge save. Benard Ngamta scored 2-1 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ter Stegen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
The wind increased when Everardo Huguet made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, Wesselbend's Dan Van Hemel made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ter Stegen was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Ganadería casa Ferreiro's Luis Soto got a free kick in the 55th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 57 minutes, Jurgen Goris successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 58th minute Ganadería casa Ferreiro were awarded a corner. Gabri Casals went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 64th minute Benard Ngamta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ter Stegen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute of the match, Nguyễn Phuoc tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jurgen Goris saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 72nd minute, Benard Ngamta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wesselbend fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Ter Stegen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benard Ngamta in the 75th minute of play. Ter Stegen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Van Hemel, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. 96 minutes into the game, Enzo Romero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Jurgen Goris was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Wesselbend had won after a very even match.
