Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodor Zegreanu in the 9th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, Aron Sasu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dante Lacasa. Aron Sasu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. With an all-out effort, FC. BRAILA-CHERCEA's Dante Lacasa threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Teodor Zegreanu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute, Luca Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tibor Berkes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The supporters of FC. BRAILA-CHERCEA booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Tafalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tibor Berkes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lautaro Mancebo's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Tibor Berkes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Facundo Cadaval fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tibor Berkes having to interfere. Flavius Maghear hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute of the match Joel Gaona sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tibor Berkes skillfully saved the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jorge Bitxintxo to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tibor Berkes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 54 minutes into the game, Basarab Tiberian was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC. BRAILA-CHERCEA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. Basarab Tiberian kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tibor Berkes having to interfere. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Efrain Cresconio, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Tibor Berkes made a huge save. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after FC. BRAILA-CHERCEA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. Luca Zorita made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that FC. BRAILA-CHERCEA's Tibor Berkes managed to reach the ball for a save. FC. BRAILA-CHERCEA's Tibor Berkes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save FC. BRAILA-CHERCEA from getting a goal against them. Tibor Berkes made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. Tibor Berkes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 71st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tibor Berkes. That made the score 2-2 after 71 minutes of play. Duro Miner hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 85th minute. 89 minutes into the match, FC. BRAILA-CHERCEA's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Tibor Berkes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Mexico's Tibor Berkes threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Gaona, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, FC. BRAILA-CHERCEA's Tibor Berkes got control of the ball when Alberto Tafalla tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC. BRAILA-CHERCEA succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Mexico had controlled the match.
