Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gogo Elequemedo kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the game, Gogo Elequemedo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pedro Manzanares. Gogo Elequemedo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Kevin Mastache recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Axel Montenegro notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Defensores de Mar de Ajó's Kleopas Plouffe. Kleopas Plouffe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Defensores de Mar de Ajó's Kleopas Plouffe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 23rd minute of play. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Gogo Elequemedo sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santino Seco in the 28th minute of play forced Defensores de Mar de Ajó's goalkeeper Kleopas Plouffe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kleopas Plouffe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 30th minute of play. Orlando Tafalla kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Defensores de Mar de Ajó's Gogo Elequemedo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pedro Manzanares. That made the score 2-1 after 37 minutes of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abram Sarmiento was the one to do the kick off. After 56 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Tafalla. In the 58th minute of the match, Kevin Mastache tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kleopas Plouffe saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of Colombia booed when Defensores de Mar de Ajó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inautzi Quesada didn't get a good kick on the ball. Axel Montenegro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 61stth minute, Kleopas Plouffe skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gogo Elequemedo in the 63rd minute of the match. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by Colombia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cesar Romildo was slow to take the kick. During this time Defensores de Mar de Ajó's players had a chance to rest. 66 minutes into the game, Defensores de Mar de Ajó's Gogo Elequemedo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. In the 71st match minute, Defensores de Mar de Ajó was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Everardo Honrio to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gogo Elequemedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Kleopas Plouffe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 86th minute of play. Colombia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
