Georgian F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Costa Rica the free kick. In the 8th match minute, Georgian F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beka Tsitsishvili to maneuver through the defense. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. Alan Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 16th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Axel Tasis to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Irakli Gogava stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Irakli Gogava tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. Gregory Hattendorf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Tasis in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Georgian F.C.'s Roland Hatman dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Tasis to make the kick off. Gregory Hattendorf made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Axel Tasis sent off a good shot on target. 54 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Dato Arveladze came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Georgian F.C.'s Roland Hatman. But to his dismay, Roland Hatman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Roland Hatman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Georgian F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Roland Hatman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 61 minutes of play, Georgian F.C.'s Roland Hatman made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Roland Hatman sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. In the 67th minute, Roland Hatman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Gregory Hattendorf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Noboa, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Georgian F.C.'s Gregory Hattendorf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Tasis in the 74th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Roland Hatman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Gregory Hattendorf was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eliseo Noboa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 7-1 in the 94 minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Georgian F.C. fully deserved thier win.
