Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Colombia's Abram Sarmiento started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Raimundo Ventura notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Colombia's Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Qiu Chuan Ran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Mastache in the 9th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 15 minutes, Qiu Chuan Ran successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Qiu Chuan Ran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Mastache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rodolfo Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Modesto Bras hit a great ball. Axel Montenegros short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Qiu Chuan Ran to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Axel Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Qiu Chuan Ran made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzalo Lixandro in the 25th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Axel Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Qiu Chuan Ran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 35th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s zone, Santino Seco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Qiu Chuan Ran came out of the goal and Santino Seco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Qiu Chuan Ran made an important save on a dangerous shot by Axel Montenegro in the 42nd minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gonzalo Lixandro made a kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Santino Seco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Qiu Chuan Ran was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The throw-in from Witold Piszczor in the 59th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Colombia's Pascual Carballar. In the 64th minute, Gonzalo Lixandro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedro Manzanares was a little too slow when Rodolfo Faria got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 2-2. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. made a substitution. Claudemiro Madureira replaced Israel Carvalhal. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. 73 minutes into the match, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Gonzalo Lixandro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gonzalo Lixandro in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Manzanares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Menelaos Damianos came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Menelaos Damianos couldn't finish the play. Menelaos Damianos was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 86 minutes into the match. A collision led to Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Menelaos Damianos hit a great ball. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Gonzalo Lixandro tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Rodolfo Faria managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Rodolfo Faria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ignacio Mastache in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Qiu Chuan Ran saved Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. from getting behind. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
