Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. The supporters of AFC Koolkerke booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 15th minute. Robertinho Carabajal might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robertinho Carabajal ran back to his position shaking his head. With an all-out effort, AFC Koolkerke's Jonathan Ferrant threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Robertinho Carabajal, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. After 21st play minutes Robertinho Carabajal shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Jonathan Ferrant and just under the crossbar into goal. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Robertinho Carabajal scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 2-0. Christer Sunde hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Robertinho Carabajal might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robertinho Carabajal ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robertinho Carabajal in the 33rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robertinho Carabajal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 46th minute Robertinho Carabajal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 48 minutes into the match, AFC Koolkerke's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Ulises Steven reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes AFC Koolkerke got a freekick which was hit by Christer Sunde. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Robertinho Carabajal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Robertinho Carabajal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robertinho Carabajal in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robertinho Carabajal in the 60th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robertinho Carabajal in the 83rd minute of play. Robertinho Carabajal struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFC Koolkerke. After 87 minutes of play, AFC Koolkerke's Robertinho Carabajal made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of AFC Koolkerke booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tang Di Nan kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Ulises Steven was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Tomas Illescas. AFC Koolkerke's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
