Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Axel Tasis took the kick off in the first half of the match. Emanuel Vasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 16th minute, Emanuel Vasco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 19th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Alcocer to maneuver through the defense. Lautaro Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Gartxot having to interfere. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Nicasio Barea sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. In the 34th minute, Ovidio Quentin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute of the match Axel Tasis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eloy Gartxot skillfully saved the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Steelares FC's goalkeeper Eloy Gartxot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Tasis. Axel Tasis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Eloy Gartxot when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeo Marcones in the 42nd minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eloy Gartxot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Noboa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emanuel Vasco was the one to do the kick off. The Steelares FC fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Steelares FC's Nicasio Barea looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Vasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Steelares FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nicasio Barea in the 57th minute. After taking down the ball on Steelares FC's corner Nicasio Barea fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Benito Sanz quite easily take care of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ariel Florinio during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ariel Florinio kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Nicasio Barea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Steelares FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. If Lautaro Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silvestre Adrio in the 78th minute. After 82 played minutes Steelares FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabricio Ganix. In the 85th minute, Lautaro Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabricio Ganix who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Benito Sanz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Steelares FC's Ariel Florinio got a free kick in the 94th minute.
