Mexico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hasan Hüseyin Başol ran over to the corner to take the kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Brayden McPaul to strike the kick off in the second half. Fernanco Muslera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 51st minute of the match. The supporters of Emotep SK booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Cazalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute, Alberto Tafalla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 87 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Luca Zorita. The supporters of Mexico booed when Emotep SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emrah Dönmez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
