Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Edmundo Espiga made the kick off which started today's match. Jacobo Gartzi made in the 3rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Nicasio Barea. Edmundo Espiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 13 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Vasco came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmundo Espiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Steelares FC's Eloy Gartxot was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A hard shot 20 in the game by Edmundo Espiga from a close distance when the talented Eloy Gartxot managed to make a qualified save. Steelares FC's players were relieved. 22 minutes into the game, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eloy Gartxot made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Steelares FC's zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eloy Gartxot came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eloy Gartxot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Steelares FC's Eloy Gartxot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd play minute Edmundo Espiga came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Eloy Gartxot. 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Steelares FC's zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eloy Gartxot came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emanuel Vasco was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Emanuel Vasco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Steelares FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuel Vasco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 54th minute of play forced Steelares FC's goalkeeper Eloy Gartxot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Steelares FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Eloy Gartxot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by Steelares FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edmundo Espiga was slow to take the kick. During this time Honduras's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Luca Espinar got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Eloy Gartxot quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emanuel Vasco in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lautaro Navarro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 69 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Milagros Cabal. In the 69th minute of the match Nicasio Barea shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lautaro Navarro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eloy Gartxot was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. 75 minutes into the match, Honduras's Moises Tafalla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eloy Gartxot narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 77th minute, Edmundo Espiga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Honduras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. The supporters of Steelares FC booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milagros Cabal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 88 minutes, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Espiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lautaro Navarro made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Nicasio Barea sent off a good shot on target. Eloy Gartxot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Honduras fans cheered their team off the field, for while Steelares FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
