The tension between the Chile and the Zalasárszeg OSE players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zalasárszeg OSE made a substitution. András Selymes replaced Kálmán Gácsi. The supporters of Zalasárszeg OSE booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Indiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Mariano Lacasa took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for György Tóth to make any attempt to save it. Csaba Végvári fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. In the 46th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Indiano to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Zalasárszeg OSE's György Tóth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Carballar in the 54th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Chile's Orlando Casaus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that György Tóth narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 63rd minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but György Tóth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without György Tóth having to make a save. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but György Tóth read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Chile's Alan Tamayo got a free kick in the 65th minute. The audience was convinced that Márió Kállai's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Pliego was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Chile's Mariano Lacasa got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but György Tóth read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Chile were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Zalasárszeg OSE for a fine match.
