Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 9th minute of the match Catholic Church got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kenneth McKinnell ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Henrik Ingemarsson in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Henrik Ingemarsson made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Henrik Ingemarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 18th minute of play. Catholic Church's Henrik Ingemarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 19th minute of play. Henrik Ingemarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the match, Catholic Church's goalkeeper Henrik Ingemarsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. In the 25th minute, Stig-Åke Ljungberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 31st minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Henrik Ingemarsson. Henrik Ingemarsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Daniel Zorita's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Henrik Ingemarsson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to Catholic Church getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Kenneth McKinnell hit a great ball. In the 37th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrik Ingemarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henrik Ingemarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luis Andino received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Henrik Ingemarsson came out and tried to block the shot, but Luis Andino slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 48th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kenneth McKinnell made a kick off. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Henry Kristiansson sent off a good shot on target. In the 58th minute, Ecuador's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Henry Kristiansson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Henrik Ingemarsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Felix Montes hit a great ball. Henrik Ingemarsson came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Luis Andino. But to his dismay, Luis Andino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Henrik Ingemarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 72nd minute of the match. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Henrik Ingemarsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th match minute, Catholic Church was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oskar Bergqvist to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Catholic Church's Henrik Ingemarsson. Henrik Ingemarsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Henrik Ingemarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 82nd minute of play. Henrik Ingemarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 87th minute of play. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 90 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henrik Ingemarsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenneth McKinnell in the 96th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 97th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Andino to maneuver through the defense. Ecuador walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
