Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Augusto Landero got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilias Seichanidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 6 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ilias Seichanidis was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 11th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. ΟΦΗ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of ΟΦΗ booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ilias Seichanidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 16th minute of play. In the 22nd match minute, ΟΦΗ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Codrea to maneuver through the defense. Augusto Landero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Nasos Papadis sent off a good shot on target. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nasos Papadis in the 28th minute of the match. Ilias Seichanidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind ΟΦΗ's goalkeeper Ilias Seichanidis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 39th minute. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ilias Seichanidis quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 41 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nasos Papadis. In the 42nd minute Augusto Landero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, ΟΦΗ's Babbis Theodorakakos got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The supporters of ΟΦΗ booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Sancho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Landero in the 46th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Daniel Zorita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Ilias Seichanidis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Nasos Papadis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Ilias Seichanidis in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 60th minute. 61 minutes into the match, ΟΦΗ's goalkeeper Ilias Seichanidis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Nasos Papadis managed to get in a good position for a shot. ΟΦΗ's supporters rose to their feet, but Nasos Papadis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ilias Seichanidis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 66th minute. 67 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when ΟΦΗ's Augusto Landero fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Cristian Sancho kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Augusto Landero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. With a little luck, ΟΦΗ's Ilias Seichanidis got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Landero in the 77th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Nikos Kanetos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ilias Seichanidis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 95th minute. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Antonio Arias hit a great ball. In the 96th minute of the match Nikos Kanetos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera skillfully saved the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
