Di Han Guo had in the 7thth minute some difficulties stopping Joel Gaona's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Attilio Di Loreto scored 1-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Di Han Guo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 16th minute of play. Di Han Guo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute of the match, Joel Gaona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Di Han Guo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 24th minute, Slawomir Rutkowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luca Zorita hit a great ball. Wincenty Lagiewniki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Leonardo Leoz made in the 35th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Lautaro Mancebo immediately put the ball in play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joel Gaona got free with Di Han Guo in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Di Han Guo was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Joel Gaona capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Joel Gaona really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Attilio Di Loreto in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Zula Kiepski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonardo Leoz hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Attilio Di Loreto in the 63rd minute. Di Han Guo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Di Han Guo having to interfere. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Leonardo Leoz hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 91st minute of play forced Lipa KS's goalkeeper Di Han Guo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Gürhan Arkan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dante Lacasa, 2-5. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Lipa KS had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
