Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Clapham Comets F.C.'s Paul Mersø started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Vinnie Small didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. 13 minutes in the game Martyn Lawson did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Robert Thorne. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Clapham Comets F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jack Myers didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute, Tomas Illescas sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Clapham Comets F.C.'s Vinnie Small didn't even have to move. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Paul Mersø tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jack Myers kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Tomas Illescas took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vinnie Small. Vinnie Small dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Paul Mersø sent off a good shot on target. The audience held their breath when Joshua Secada in the 40th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Vinnie Small's left hand side. Vinnie Small came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Tomas Illescas. But to his dismay, Tomas Illescas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-4.

After a rather tough play, Clapham Comets F.C.'s Pierre Whittingham got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Vinnie Small didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. After 55 played minutes Clapham Comets F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Martyn Lawson. After 60 played minutes Clapham Comets F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Martyn Lawson. Vinnie Small made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 61st minute. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paul Mersø, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patricio Costa's late challenge caught a Clapham Comets F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patricio Costa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 63rd minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Clapham Comets F.C.'s Barrie Elvins got a free kick in the 76th minute. Barrie Elvins was shown his second yellow card after 79 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 80 played minutes Clapham Comets F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Barrie Elvins. In the 82nd minute, Clapham Comets F.C.'s Francesco Fabregas seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Francesco Fabregas the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Clapham Comets F.C. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Francesco Fabregas had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 83rd match minute, Clapham Comets F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francesco Fabregas to maneuver through the defense. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Clapham Comets F.C.'s Vinnie Small proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Clapham Comets F.C. from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Patricio Costa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vinnie Small. That made the score 2-5 in the 89 minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Venezuela left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Clapham Comets F.C..
