Rodrigo Lobo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Agustin Barrantes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Barrantes in the 29th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Agustin Barrantes made a kick off. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Agustin Barrantes scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 1-5. After 56 played minutes CS La Libertad got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Barrantes. CS La Libertad made a substitution. Luis Martinez replaced Rodrigo Lobo. After 58 played minutes CS La Libertad got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Barrantes. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustin Barrantes in the 60th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 61st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Illescas to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to CS La Libertad getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Omar Guevara hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ernesto Monge was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. 67 minutes into the game, Agustin Barrantes lined in a short shot 1-6 behind a frustrated Jonathan Ferrant. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Monge having to interfere. Mainor Coronado made in the 91st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Miguel Volio managed to get in a good position for a shot. CS La Libertad's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Volio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match was over CS La Libertad could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Venezuela throughout the match.
