Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Radoman Karaičić took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, Sima Ignjatović hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 7th minute of play forced Thornhill City's goalkeeper Staniša Šorgić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miloš Đurković made in the 8th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Ecuador's Felix Montenegro. Staniša Šorgić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera was out of position in the 13 minute of play, and Radoman Karaičić capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Radoman Karaičić really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Staniša Šorgić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 20th minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radoman Karaičić in the 22nd minute of play. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Staniša Šorgić having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 25th minute of play forced Thornhill City's goalkeeper Staniša Šorgić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Staniša Šorgić didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radoman Karaičić, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Staniša Šorgić having to interfere. Oscar-Alfredo Ruggeri hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Radoman Karaičić's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 37thth minute, Julio Vera skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Staniša Šorgić came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 46thth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Thornhill City's Staniša Šorgić was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Primitivo Andino's late challenge caught a Thornhill City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Primitivo Andino helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Thornhill City booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Radoman Karaičić's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. When Thornhill City's Radoman Karaičić in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. In the 64th minute Radoman Karaičić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 67 played minutes Thornhill City got a freekick which was hit by Dejan Jovanić. Thornhill City's Siniša Ognjanović was substituted for Dejan Jovanić. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 72 minutes of play, Thornhill City's Ninoslav Mijanović made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 76th minute of the game Primitivo Andino made a throw-in which Agustín Saelices played forward. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ninoslav Mijanović in the 78th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Staniša Šorgić in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Staniša Šorgić made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Staniša Šorgić made a huge save. Staniša Šorgić was a little too slow when Cristian Sancho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 2-3. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ninoslav Mijanović in the 91st minute of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ninoslav Mijanović in the 94th minute of the match. Ninoslav Mijanović scored 3-3 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Despite being the better team, Ecuador failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
