The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Edoardo Corna scored 1-0 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marco Day, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 12 minutes into the match, Fc Molina di Quosa's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Rolf Skarsø reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edoardo Corna, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Fc Molina di Quosa's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Mcdonald came free, but Rolf Skarsø reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pavel Lukšík recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 22 minutes USA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edoardo Corna who took care of the corner kick. The attack was good, but when Lyuboslav Tzutzev in the 23rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. When Edoardo Corna came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Fc Molina di Quosa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edoardo Corna couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 34th minute of play forced Fc Molina di Quosa's goalkeeper Rolf Skarsø to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fc Molina di Quosa's Rolf Skarsø played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 38th minute of play. Rolf Skarsø showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Mcdonald in the 40th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edoardo Corna in the 41st minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Cassius Byrne made the kick off in the second half. When Aldo Baruffa fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fc Molina di Quosa's protests and gave Aldo Baruffa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 50th match minute, Fc Molina di Quosa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldo Baruffa to maneuver through the defense. Rolf Skarsø made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edward Mcdonald in the 53rd minute. After a rather tough play, Fc Molina di Quosa's Hu Ao Xiao got a free kick in the 91st minute. After 92 played minutes Fc Molina di Quosa got a freekick which was hit by Edoardo Corna. In the 94th minute, Jenson Smith hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. USA were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
