In the 7th minute, Jaime Pardo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paraguay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 9 minutes into the game, Primitivo Escribano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paraguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gortaty the free kick. In the 10th match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Escribano to maneuver through the defense. Hector Covarrubias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arkadiusz Grajewski having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Jaime Pardo notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Gortaty's Arkadiusz Grajewski. Arkadiusz Grajewski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arkadiusz Grajewski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hector Covarrubias went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Jaime Pardo took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Arkadiusz Grajewski to make any attempt to save it. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gortaty's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jaime Pardo was slow to take the kick. During this time Paraguay's players had a chance to rest. A hard shot 30 in the game by Jaime Pardo from a close distance when the talented Arkadiusz Grajewski managed to make a qualified save. Gortaty's players were relieved. 32 minutes into the match, Jaime Pardo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arkadiusz Grajewski. Gortaty's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jaime Pardo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Arkadiusz Grajewski was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Jaime Pardo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jaime Pardo really showed his touch with that goal: 6-0. Jaime Pardo in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arkadiusz Grajewski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Arkadiusz Grajewski made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Jaime Pardo sent off a good shot on target. 46 minutes into the game, Paraguay's Jaime Pardo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arkadiusz Grajewski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jaime Pardo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Jaime Pardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Gortaty getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Remigiusz Kaczynski hit a great ball. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Gortaty was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartosz Chrzan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Gortaty's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Pardo came free, but Arkadiusz Grajewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jaime Pardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arkadiusz Grajewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Pardo in the 63rd minute of the match. Arkadiusz Grajewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Pardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the match, Gortaty's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Pardo came free, but Arkadiusz Grajewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute, Primitivo Escribano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 68th minute, Jaime Pardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arkadiusz Grajewski came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Paraguay's Jaime Pardo. But to his dismay, Jaime Pardo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. In the 74th minute, Hector Covarrubias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arkadiusz Grajewski was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. Primitivo Escribano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arkadiusz Grajewski having to interfere. When Grzegorz Wodaszak fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gortaty's protests and gave Grzegorz Wodaszak a yellow card for diving instead. Grzegorz Wodaszak kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Arkadiusz Grajewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Covarrubias in the 80th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaime Pardo in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arkadiusz Grajewski saved Gortaty from getting behind. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Gortaty was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cezary Mosiniak didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 84 minutes, Jaime Pardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paraguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Pardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jaime Pardo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arkadiusz Grajewski having to make a save. Remigiusz Kaczynski hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 91stth minute of the game Jaime Pardo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gortaty's Arkadiusz Grajewski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arkadiusz Grajewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Pardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Paraguay's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
