Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Barrialito AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Cristo Elivareo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute Hernan Socorro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristo Elivareo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Jacinto Raitin took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Julio Vera to make any attempt to save it. Cristo Elivareo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 23rd minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristo Elivareo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Adrian Osoitz's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adrian Osoitz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 30th minute, Adrian Osoitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristo Elivareo having to make a save. Cristo Elivareo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 37th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Efrain Blai's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. 46 minutes into the match, Barrialito AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Cristo Elivareo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Efrain Blai hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hernan Socorro to make the kick off. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cristo Elivareo came out and tried to block the shot, but Felix Montenegro slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 53rd minute. 56 minutes into the match, Barrialito AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Cristo Elivareo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 56 minutes into the game, Luis Andino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Cristo Elivareo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. 61 minutes into the match, Barrialito AFC's goalkeeper Cristo Elivareo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Barrialito AFC's Cristo Elivareo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Barrialito AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 65th minute, Teodosio Txema hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristo Elivareo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Daniel Zorita. With a little luck, Barrialito AFC's Cristo Elivareo got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 76 minutes Barrialito AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristo Elivareo having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Daniel Zorita slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cristo Elivareo. That made the score 2-4 after 80 minutes of play. In the 84th minute Jacinto Raitin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernan Socorro, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute.
