Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Rodríguez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 5 minutes into the match, SC Pfullendorf's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Kıvanç Yücesan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Argyris Zagorakis sent off a good shot on target. Kıvanç Yücesan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 14th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Argyris Zagorakis came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kıvanç Yücesan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Kıvanç Yücesan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Milagros Fraga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 41 minutes, Hussein Bellido mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Pfullendorf and the Peru players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 41 played minutes SC Pfullendorf got a freekick which was hit by Hussein Bellido. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Argyris Zagorakis in the 47th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julian Murillo to strike the kick off in the second half. SC Pfullendorf made a substitution. 彭森银 replaced Argyris Zagorakis. The throw-in from Hussein Bellido in the 58th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Kıvanç Yücesan made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kıvanç Yücesan saved SC Pfullendorf from getting behind. Through an outstanding action, after 67 minutes, Kıvanç Yücesan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The throw-in from Emmanuel Reyes in the 70th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by SC Pfullendorf's David Moya. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 彭森银 in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Noboa saved Peru from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by 彭森银 in the 74th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Eliseo Mina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseo Mina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kıvanç Yücesan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Julian Murillo took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Kıvanç Yücesan to make any attempt to save it. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. 89 minutes into the match, Rafael Gallo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kıvanç Yücesan, 0-2. After some careless play in the SC Pfullendorf defense, Rafael Gallo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kıvanç Yücesan. The SC Pfullendorf fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kıvanç Yücesan should have stopped the shot. Peru played a much better game than SC Pfullendorf and deserved their victory. The SC Pfullendorf players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
