Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Israel Faria, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 27th minute, Torcato Semedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Flores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after BIAMAR's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Facundo Cadaval got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mariano Flores quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 30 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mariano Flores, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 34th minute of play forced BIAMAR's goalkeeper Mariano Flores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by BIAMAR's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. Mariano Flores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 38th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Israel Faria got free with Dante Lacasa in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mariano Flores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 67th minute of the match. Mariano Flores was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Márcio Ribeiro's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Márcio Ribeiro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 83rd match minute, BIAMAR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Márcio Ribeiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. Mexico's Facundo Cadaval was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mariano Flores in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Macos Graciani fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mariano Flores quite easily take care of the ball. In the 94th match minute, BIAMAR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juliano Santos to maneuver through the defense. Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There was no doubt that Mexico were the better team. Mexico's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
