Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Piedras Albas AFC's Marcos Bellido started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcos Bellido in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tonio Font was slow to take the kick. During this time Piedras Albas AFC's players had a chance to rest. Camilo Gaos tried in the 10th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Jonathan Ferrant a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcos Bellido in the 14th minute. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodrigo Gaspard was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. 19 minutes into the game, Marcos Bellido cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 25 minutes of play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodrigo Gaspard was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edward Brudzisz struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Piedras Albas AFC. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when Piedras Albas AFC's Marcos Bellido fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 36 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ponciano Colillas. In the 39th minute, Jonathan Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcos Bellido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Patricio Costa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rodrigo Gaspard made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Marcos Bellido put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 55th minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Brudzisz in the 57th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Jan Harendarski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joshua Secada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Rodrigo Gaspard in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Venezuela were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after Piedras Albas AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomas Illescas took the corner. Rigoberto Mina hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Tonio Font's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Jonathan Ferrant - 4-2 was put on the score board in the 78th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcos Bellido in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. After 85 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tonio Font who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Piedras Albas AFC's Tonio Font to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Piedras Albas AFC's Rodrigo Gaspard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 89th minute of play. The corner ended in Tomas Illescas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Piedras Albas AFC's Rodrigo Gaspard did a great save. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Harendarski in the 94th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Piedras Albas AFC had played much better football throughout.
