Aleksandr Vasyutin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Revenge's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Aleksandr Vasyutin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aleksandr Vasyutin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berend Hermensen in the 36th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmundo Espiga made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Berend Hermensen took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Lautaro Navarro to make any attempt to save it. The audience was convinced that Kees Koole's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lautaro Navarro was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Wilco Willemse took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Constantin-Maximilian Vennegoor Of Hesselink could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Lautaro Navarro made a huge save. 82 minutes into the game, Revenge's Constantin-Maximilian Vennegoor Of Hesselink nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lautaro Navarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. If Constantin-Maximilian Vennegoor Of Hesselink had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Honduras supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Revenge's performance. The match ended with a win for Revenge.
