Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Edward Brudzisz was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 11th minute. Piedras Albas AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when Piedras Albas AFC's Marcos Bellido fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Rodrigo Gaspard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Marcos Bellido could shoot a difficult shot in the 22nd minute, which Jonathan Ferrant however easily saved by the left post. Piedras Albas AFC's Rodrigo Gaspard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 24th minute of play. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Edward Brudzisz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes in the game Heliodoro Gutierrez did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Ponciano Colillas. After the first half Venezuela were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rodrigo Gaspard. Tomas Illescas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Piedras Albas AFC made a substitution. Sotil Rajoi replaced Armando Hotz. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcos Bellido's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Bellido in the 62nd minute of the match. After 62 minutes, Jose Correa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Piedras Albas AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 62nd minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Piedras Albas AFC's Rodrigo Gaspard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 66th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcos Bellido's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Heliodoro Gutierrez in the 76 minute of the game. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Rodrigo Gaspard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the game, Heliodoro Gutierrez threw the ball into play from the sideline. Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 83 played minutes Piedras Albas AFC got a freekick which was hit by Heliodoro Gutierrez. A collision led to Piedras Albas AFC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Jan Harendarski hit a great ball. The Piedras Albas AFC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Venezuela to win.
