Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Karl-Michael Brask took the kick off in the first half of the match. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Michael Brask, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 6 minutes into the game, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Xerxes Doro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Cotilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xerxes Doro in the 9th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isidoro Sarmiento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Karl-Michael Brask sent off a good shot on target. Xerxes Doro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcos Cotilla came out and tried to block the shot, but Xerxes Doro slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 25th minute. In the 29thth minute of the game Xerxes Doro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Panama's Marcos Cotilla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Flavio Peter stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Berganza's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Flavio Peter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 37th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Panama fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Karl-Michael Brask had several of the Panama's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 41 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-1 score and a disappointed Marcos Cotilla as he didn't even see the shot coming. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Michael Brask in the 45th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Abraham Alguacil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Berganza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Batalionul U23 Dorobanti got a freekick which was hit by Mădălin Geamănu. When Xerxes Doro came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Batalionul U23 Dorobanti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xerxes Doro couldn't finish the play. In the 57th minute, Matthew Garrido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xerxes Doro in the 62nd minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute, Abraham Alguacil fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Flavio Peter, passed just outside the right post. Flavio Peter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 66th minute of play. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flavio Peter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 70th minute of play. Karl-Michael Brask sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Xerxes Doro came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Michael Brask, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 89th minute, Alex Cambeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Batalionul U23 Dorobanti booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthew Garrido didn't get a good kick on the ball. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
